On train platforms and station concourses, TG Lining installs epoxy domes to inform blind and visually impaired people e.g. on staircases. These warning markings are carried out by us in compliance with the ProRail design specifications. Just as with the guiding strips, domes are also applied directly to the substrate using templates in situ. This provides superb adhesion to virtually all types of substrates without the need for drilling, gluing or sawing. Our systems are intended for pedestrians and are located in pedestrian areas, free of motorized traffic.
The warning domes can be walked on after approximately 12 hours at a minimum processing temperature of 10°C and do not need any post-processing. By using covering plates, areas remain accessible for pedestrians even during installation.
